Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Information you provide directly: your email if you sign up for the newsletter; your name, email, and message if you use the Contact form; your business details if you submit a listing through List Your Clinic; and your name, email, phone number, and treatment/city/timing preferences if you use Find a Med Spa to request a provider match.

Information collected automatically: standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site) via Google Analytics, and anonymous product-usage events (which page, which button — never tied to your name or email unless you've separately submitted a form).

Saved clinics: the heart icon on a clinic listing saves to your browser's local storage only. It's never sent to our servers and isn't tied to any account.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you signed up for, respond to contact and listing submissions, connect you with a matched clinic when you use Find a Med Spa, understand which pages and treatments people are actually researching so we can improve the site, and detect and prevent abuse of our forms.

Who we share it with

Matched clinics: if you submit Find a Med Spa, we share your contact details and treatment/location preferences with the clinic(s) you're matched to, so they can follow up about your request. We don't sell or share this information with any other clinic or third party for their own marketing.

Service providers: form submissions and newsletter signups are stored in our CRM (GoHighLevel) so we can respond to them. Site analytics run through Google Analytics. Neither vendor is permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We don't sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers, and we don't share it with clinics you haven't specifically asked to be matched with.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can block these using your browser's privacy settings or an extension like Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, without affecting your ability to browse or use the directory.

Your rights

If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request its deletion, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of having it shared with a matched clinic going forward. To exercise any of these, use Contact and tell us what you'd like — we'll respond within 45 days. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.

Data retention

We keep form submissions and newsletter subscriptions for as long as needed to respond to your request or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Anonymous analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults researching aesthetic treatments and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Third-party links

Clinic listings link out to clinic websites, booking pages, Instagram profiles, and embedded Google Maps. Once you leave this site, that third party's own privacy policy applies — we don't control what they collect.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
